Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965) is an American actor from America. She is most famous for her part as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The series ended after the seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received nominations for the Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992) as well as Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was born New York City to Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), who is a speech and family therapist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick, a venture investor. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has announced that she is Jewish and has been a participant in Passover meal times.
